Chinchilla Westland Transportables & Homes ensure a stress-free building process as your factory built home progresses through to completion. We’re western Queensland’s leading specialists in relocatable homes and transportable buildings for clients in rural and remote areas, and we guide you through the building process to keep you on track and within your budget.

Our Easy 6 Step Building Process

1/ Consultation & Customising Plans

• Discuss design options and provide a detailed itemised, no obligation quote,
• Decide on a house plan, modify the plan to suit your requirements and budget,
• Preparation of house plans by a draftsman and arrange the required certifications,
• Enter into the formal building contract.

2/ Designing Your Home

• Our team handles the entire home design process and will help you decide on colour schemes, fittings and fixtures for the interiors and exteriors of your new home.

3/ Payment Plan

• An initial deposit is required before construction commences and a drafted payment schedule will keep you on track for the instalments to be paid during the construction phase. If you need to organise finance, Westland Transportables can offer assistance through Transportable Home Finance.

4/ Construction Phase

• Construction commences,
• Your factory built home can be constructed in as little as 12 weeks or less,
• You’re welcome to our factory to inspect your new home at anytime time during the construction phase.

5/ Transportation

Westland Transportables offer different economical options to move your home in single or multiple moves depending on the size and shape of your home.

• MULTIPLE MOVE - Large or L shaped houses are specially constructed to enable separation for transport to site. They’re split up into sections and are moved on standard semi trailers. Extra support vehicles are not required.

• SINGLE MOVE - A whole-section house constructed in one piece may require a specialist transport company with extra wide trucks, a police escort and pilot vehicles. We can arrange this for you.

• HYBRID MOVE – A combination of both types of moves can be arranged.

6/ Installation

• Transportable homes (or relocatable homes) are positioned on fully adjustable steel stumps,
• The connection of plumbing and septic systems, electricity, gas and hot water are an extra service and we are happy to arrange this for you,
• Inspection of the installed home for any damages, if any, and approval of the completed job,
• We happily hand over the keys to your new home and will contact you within a year to ensure make sure you are happy with new home.
